I recently had the pleasure of being served by Sally, and I must say her service was exceptional. She managed every situation with remarkable poise and efficiency, making our experience truly memorable. Kay was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing!! It was our first time and she explained everything clearly and made sure to check in with us frequently. She also gave us so much gifts! Snacks and free broth and a toy! My friend and I felt like we were in disneyland! The food was fresh and the flavors were on point! We even got the noodle dance thanks to Kay!! Thank you for such an amazing service and food! Top marks!

Came here for birthday celebration and it was a great experience! You get very good service, where the staff comes to help you fill water, remove excess leftovers from the pot, and more. Of course there are the performers too (face changing and noodle acrobatics). The food was good too, very fresh. You can get endless sides, which the kids enjoyed. A tip is that you can save a bit on the soup base if you order half of one flavour, and then choose water for the other. They'll refill the soup so you don't miss out. As a member, which is free, you get 30 off. And you can check online for 'quotes' to say to the server, and you can get a free toy for the kids, deep fried bun, or other choices (only 1 tho)! It can get busy, so definitely recommend you to make reservation. There are quite a bit of parking on the street level lot and parkade, but the spots are pretty narrow.

This is hands down my favorite hot pot spot in Richmond! You pretty much can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff are always super friendly, and I especially love Tania—she’s so sweet and really goes above and beyond. Every time I come here, I leave feeling super happy with her service. Hope Haidilao keeps getting better and better!

Amazing Hotpot Experience at Haidilao! Haidilao is hands down the best hotpot restaurant in the Greater Vancouver area! Booking is super convenient—you can call or reserve through Google Maps. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is beyond exceptional. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and always go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. The restaurant is spotless, and they provide so many thoughtful amenities—from wet and dry napkins to toothpicks, mouthwash, and even mints. The attention to detail is truly impressive! Plus, they offer free toys for kids, which is such a nice touch. If you’re celebrating a birthday, they have a fun celebration team that sings for you, creating a lively atmosphere. But the highlight for me is the face-changing (Bian Lian) performance at 7 PM—it’s like magic! The performer’s quick transformations are mind-blowing, and the interactive aspect makes it even more entertaining for guests. I visit frequently, and every time, it’s an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

I have heard of this place before but never had the opportunity to try it until today. I think what sets HaiDiLao apart from other hot pot places I have been to is everything is a little more premium. We ordered the hand pulled noodles and a staff member came out to serve it to us. But before we were able to cook it, he swirled it around and did some pretty neat tricks with the noodles before cooking it for us. At least one staff member is always present so you don't have to look for help at any time. I guess there are also secret phrases to unlock certain specials too (???). Food was great. Selection of soup bases was bountiful. The spicy soup was actually spicy. Outstanding service and everything is really clean. I would totally come back.

Came to this restaurant yesterday & it was phenomenal. It is not simply a restaurant, but a whole food experience. As this was my first time trying Hot Pot, the process was fairly new to me. They started by serving us complimentary chips & salsa, then we went to get our sauces at the sauce bar. They had an array of sauces & toppings to choose from, as well as suggested sauce combinations, which was very helpful! After we got it, they delivered the broth & started the burners. We got the silver head fish, carp, prime beef, Napa cabbage, and for the broths, we got the herb pork broth & the tomato broth. Everything was very delicious & very filling! We also got the HaiDiLao signature noodles where a gentleman came & performed a noodle pulling routine for us! 10/10 for the dance haha. Aside from the delicious food, the service was excellent & they took good care of us. Only downside was the price being quite high, but for what you’re getting, I think it’s worth the experience. I will definitely be returning back, and I’d recommend everyone to try HaiDiLao at least once.
